Connecting With Women Has a New Theme Song!

November 30th, 2007· Filed Under: About Connecting With Women Blogging Community

While attending a Science of Getting Rich seminar in Mesa, Arizona, I first heard the song “If I Were Brave”, by Jana Stanfield. Leslie Householder, who conducted the seminar, had it playing as we walked into the hotel conference room in the morning.

Since then, my husband has started every work day listening to “If I Were Brave”. (My husband was brave enough to leave corporate America to pursue his dreams.)

To Make a Difference…

November 28th, 2007· Filed Under: About Connecting With Women Blogging Community · Help For New Blogging Community Members · Motivational

If you have ever seen the movie or read the story Sarah, Plain and Tall, you know that Sarah answered an advertisement for a mail order bride in the hopes of making a difference in the lives of two young children whose mother had died. When times were hard, she stayed so that she could “make a difference”.

It is my conviction that through the Connecting with Women blogging community, we are making a difference in the lives of others. But like Sarah, through doing so, our lives are also enriched. We are creating an organization of honest and caring women who truly want to make a difference in the world.

I am excited about the financial success that comes to us as we work together as a team. We attract people into our blogging community who always buoy up those around them. I would like the members of our group to be known not only as some of the most successful women online, but also as some of the greatest leaders and the most sincere. We lead by example and are the kind of individuals our team members will want to emulate.

Blogging with Connecting with Women is Like Having a Maid do Your Dishes for You

November 5th, 2007· Filed Under: About Connecting With Women Blogging Community · Help For New Blogging Community Members

I found the following article comparing blogging to feeding a family. The author compared writing articles to cooking the meal and the tedious promotional work to cleaning up after the meal.

Aren’t you glad our software keeps us from having to do all of the tedious stuff?!?!?

Having a Blog is Like Having to Feed a Hungry Family Every Day
By David Rosenthal

I’m new to blogging, and it occurs to me that it’s kinda like having to cook a meal for your family every day. You’ve pretty much got to do it everyday. It’s got to be something different or people get bored. With a blog, just like a meal, you’ve got to assemble all the ingredients up front; a topic, some facts, then double checking the facts, some images, and some links. Then you can get down to work, and start cooking up all these parts; getting the text, links, tags and keywords all squared away.

But maybe you have an accident. In a kitchen you might knock a pot of food off a table. And that analogy corresponds to something I’ve done with the blog; I might start an article and leave the window to my Wordpress post open. Then hours later come back, and maybe I’ve cleared my cookies, so when I go to the post to “Save” I get a prompt to “login” instead. LOOSING my article! So yeah, sometimes I have to skip a day. If you’re sticking with our meal analogy then in this case we’ll say “the family can get take-out tonight.” And you can take that time away with your blog too. But, sooner rather than later, you gotta get back to it!

But when you finally get the meal out to the family, or the blog all written and published, well its not over yet. With a meal you’d still have the dishes and kitchen clean up to face (possibly followed by taking out the garbage). Basically, the crappy part. And with the blog, after you publish a post you’ve got some crap work ahead of you too. First you’ve got to get out there and PING. So it’s off to Feedburner and/or Digg, Technorati and whichever else you think will generate some visitors and RSS subscribers. Then it’s off to bend and stretch some ongoing topic so you can make acceptably relevant comments on OTHER people’s blogs. And just like watching to see if the family looks full and content after they’ve eaten, I go out and start reading my stats to see how effective my work has been.

And then there’s tomorrow. What’s on the menu now?

Are you confident that you have a wonderful product and compensation plan, maybe even the best available? You may have a great product and wonderful company, but if you don’t know how to market it, you will never be successful. Even more importantly, if you can’t show your down-line how to be successful, you may as well start counting the days you go back to babysitting kids to earn part-time income. We have the answers to help you not only generate retail business for your products but also help you find leads for your business opportunity.

Connecting with Women is a blogging community for women who want to market online, but aren’t sure how. Think of the upcoming Connecting with Women blogging community as more like a training co-op than your traditional social networking or blogging community.

Connecting with Women members will have access to mentors who will train them in online marketing skills. The network will feature conference calls and trainings by experts like Kim Sayer. Kim Sayer Acuna is a sought after Personal Coach and Trainer with the Og Mandino Group and The 6 Advisors Inc.

Kim Sayer Acuna PicKim is one of only a few coaches worldwide that has been certified to do “The Greatest Salesman in the World” training. She is considered by many to be an expert in marketing and training for the direct sales and network marketing industries.

Kim has helped individuals find success as distributors in companies such as Avon, Mary Kay, NuSkin, Mannatech, Nouveau Riche, Arbonne, and others.

Kim specializes in teaching the average person how to sell comfortably and successfully.

Based upon an entirely new concept, this community of women will focus on multiplying the efforts of the individual by working as a team. Members are actually required to help the group on a weekly basis by commenting on the blogs of 10 other community members during the week.

The Connecting with Women network members will use the power of Blog i360 technology to drive traffic to their respective blogs. This will not only save members time and energy, but also help the novice get more traffic.

Another unique feature to the Connecting with Women community is topic exclusivity. There will be only one blog per topic in this network. We will only allow one person from any given network marketing company into the co-op to ensure that we can foster a team work environment instead of a competitive nature.

We are currently looking for women distributors and representatives in the following companies: ACN Inc, Alticor, Amway, Arbonne International, Avon Products, Inc., BioPerformance, Cirro Energy, DS-MAX, DXN, EBiz EL, Equinox International, European Home Retail, Excel Communications, Forever Living Products, Freelife, Fuel Freedom International, Fund America Inc., GoYin, Herbalife, Holiday Magic, Juice Plus, Kirby Company, Kleeneze, Mannatech, Mary Kay, Mini IQ, National Safety Associates, Neways, Nikken, Nu Skin Enterprises , Omegatrend , Oriflame , Pre-Paid Legal Services, Inc., Primerica, Quixtar , Shaklee, Stream Energy, Sunrider, Tahitian Noni International , Telecom Plus, Ti4 Technology, Tupperware, USANA Health Sciences, XanGo, YOR.com, and Zrii.

A New Kind of Women’s Blogging Community is Coming

September 28th, 2007· Filed Under: About Connecting With Women Blogging Community

It is an idea whose time has finally come - a blogging community for women who want to market online, but aren’t sure how. Think of the upcoming Connecting with Women blogging community as more like a training co-op than your traditional social networking or blogging community.

Connecting with Women members will have access to mentors who will train them in online marketing skills. The network will feature conference calls and trainings by experts like Scott Allen, co-author of The Virtual Handshake: Opening Doors and Closing Deals Online and a contributing author to several others, including Blog!: How the Newest Media Revolution is Changing Politics, Business and Culture.

Based upon an entirely new concept, this community of women will focus on multiplying the efforts of the individual by working as a team. Members are actually required to help the group on a weekly basis. We are keeping quiet about exactly how the co-op will work and what the responsibility each member will be to help one another. Just know that the time requirements will be small compared to the pay-off.

The Connecting with Women network members will use the power of Blog i360 technology to drive traffic to their respective blogs. This will not only save members time and energy, but also help the novice get more traffic.

Another unique feature to Connecting with Women community is topic exclusivity. There will be only one blog per topic in this network. (Some of the topics already reserved include genealogy, sewing tips, vegan cooking, essential oil use, poetry, quilting, herbal healing, acrylic nail design, and massage therapy.)

Membership is approval-based and the popular spots like pregnancy, Law of Attraction, parenting and child care will be carefully filled.

A feature that will be added to all after the Connecting with Women’s launch is that each blog will be helping to earn money for charity. The anticipated launch of Connecting with Women October of 2007.
