I found this article to be very interesting and insightful. As a registered nurse in an ICU setting, I find myself taking care of extremely sick patients with exhaggerated immune and inflammatory responses related to their various disease processes.. We don’t use any of these herbs in the ICU setting, although they would probably be helpful and effective for some of our patients. I would like to try using some myself. Can you recommend anything that works well for common injuries like spranged ankles or tooth aches?

Angie, something I would reccomend for toothaches is essential oil of oregano. Dilute it with olive oil, coconut oil, or vegatable oil and put on the tooth. It will work faster than most herbs for acute pain and it’s cause. For ankles I would reccomend an essential oil blend called sports pro. It is very good for pain as well as assisting in the healing. You may order both of these by clicking on the link below or cut and past it in your browser. Hope this helps.
